Hello Sean,
Usually I’ve nothing to add to Mashable toolbox lists but this time I have to add a link.
Miniajax is not updated for months while AjaxRain is very similar to Miniajax but is updated every day. At the time I am writing this comment, it has more than 740 scripts while Miniajax has about 30.

You didn’t include AjaxRain. AjaxRain, http://www.ajaxrain.com has demos and examples for anyone to download and play with. They host some of the best Ajax Apps.
